We’re here for you!
We continue to focus on May as Mental Health Awareness month. We are aware that many students are finding staying engaged with school work during this time to be extremely challenging for many reasons. We understand the stress and frustration of trying to manage parent-guardian work demands while taking on the role of “home schooling” manager for your student(s) at home, especially since many of us counselors and teachers are trying to manage this balance daily in our own homes. These multiple roles can feel exhausting and overwhelming. IPRs for this quarter were posted to the student/parent portals on April 30. Please take a look and check in with your student to see how they are doing now with making progress in their classes.

This week the complete Counseling/Guidance department weekly updates will again be shared with all BHS students and guardians so everyone can see announcements for the entire community. Be well!

A college counselor from another school district posted a link to a Google sheet that she created, listing information for hundreds of colleges nationwide about virtual tours, info sessions, etc by college. With her generosity, we have included the link below. It may be of use in directing seniors to find information on some of the colleges they are considering and juniors to find out virtual college visit strategies. If you have Google suite you can access the worksheet through Google docs. Please always check each college’s website for the most up-to-date information.
