Our Program
Brookline High School is fortunate to have a partnership with Boston Children's Hospital - Sports Medicine Division that provides our student-athletes great care when it comes to sports medicine. The Sports Medicine program at Brookline High School provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to the student athletes. Our expert physicians, athletic trainers, and staff provide coverage at BHS for all interscholastic contests, and care for injured student-athletes in the high school Athletic Training Room.
Key Components:
-Collaborations with radiology services, emergency care, internal medicine and neurosurgery to offer the most advanced care for every athlete;
-Timely and efficient care.
Orthopedic Surgery:
-Immediate access to experts in the subspecialties including: ankle, foot, hand, knee, shoulder, spine, trauma
Radiology Services:
-Same-day X-ray and MRI for all urgent cases;
-Specific expertise in cartilage, ligament and tendon imaging.
On-Field Emergency Care:
-Expedited admission and care of the student athletes.
Consulting Services:
-Neurosurgery: National and international experts on concussion management
-Internal Medicine/Subspecialty Care: Cardiology, endocrinology, women’s health, and nutrition.
-Dermatology; Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
