The latest news I got is that FAFSA applications will be sent to colleges around March 1st, and then processed by schools in about two additional weeks. Many colleges have moved their enrollment deadlines because of this; please check with individual schools for information. Note that CSS Profile, required by most private schools and BHS Scholarships, is working as usual.
BHS Scholarships
The Brookline High School Scholarship Committee announces that applications are now available for BHS scholarships for students going to ANY college (including two half-tuition renewable Northeastern University scholarships). Applications are available online on the BHS homepage.

The National CCAA First-Year Scholarship is awarded to 16 randomly selected students from various geographic regions who attend one of our 116 member institutions in fall 2024. The scholarship was established to celebrate and promote Catholic higher education, and the National CCAA Board of Directors is pleased to help support students' transition to college. The scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 award. This year's application is available here; it is brief and should only take students a few minutes to complete. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 1st.
TBB Scholarships, Inc. offers 4-year grants, based on merit and need, to eligible high school senior women who reside or attend school in Brookline, Newton, or Wellesley. The 4-6 students who receive our scholarships for 2023 will be given $4,000 for tuition and fees their first year, with the amount rising to $7,000 by the time they graduate. This scholarship is for young women who reside in Norfolk county. The Henry O Peabody Scholarship can award $1000.00 - $5000.00 dollars a year renewable each year while attending a post secondary college or vocational school.
Tzu Chi USA Scholars is a scholarship program funded by Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to recognize and provide financial assistance to outstanding college-bound high school graduates in selected areas of the United States.
