College Support Services for Students with Learning Differences: Information for BHS Juniors/Seniors and their parents- caretakers. On Tuesday, April 3rd, at 7 pm in the MLK room, BHS Guidance Department will present a panel of college admission professionals, BHS specialists and former students who will answer your questions about specialized and general supports available at colleges for students with learning differences (including students with IEP, 504 or ICAP plans). Please join us!
After the College Acceptance Seminar: On Monday, April 9 at 7 pm in the Roberts Dubbs Auditorium, BHS Guidance will host a presenter from Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) who will provide critical information for seniors and their parents-caretakers about college financial aid award letters. This seminar is designed to help students and families examine and compare financial aid awards, calculate the balance due at each school, and develop a plan to pay the bill at your selected college or university.
"Steps to Finding a Summer Job" Workshop, April 5, X block - Want to become better prepared to find a summer job? Students can come to the BHS College and Career Center, Room 279, during X block to learn about general job search skills, how to use networking to your advantage, how to prepare for an interview, and how to follow up after an interview. We hope to see you there!
