Junior Night - Tuesday Feb 13 - 7-8:30 pm, Auditorium
The BHS guidance counselors of juniors and College Counselor, Lenny Libenzon, will be presenting information about post high school planning with a focus on the college search and application process. This presentation is offered for junior students and parent/guardians. Lenny Libenzon will present an overview and afterwards parents-caretakers/students will break into groups to talk with their assigned guidance counselor.

Also note that Junior Guidance Seminars will start in Advisories starting Tuesday, February 27 through March 3. Juniors will be required to attend an additional seminar during one of the mornings of the ELA MCAS from March 27-29. These seminars will allow juniors to check their credits to graduation, as well as discuss information and resources to help every Brookline High junior have a dignified plan (such as 2-4 year college, employment, gap year, military) for life after graduation.

The 2018 AP exams exam registration is open this week! This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.
This year each AP exam costs $95.00.
Online Exam registration will begin on Thurs., February 1, 2018 and end on Wed, March 7th, 2018. In order to register, students should click on the link provide on the school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/220445 to register.
The exam fees will be paid online at the time of registration, so please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration.
Here are the important dates for the registration process:
- Thu, Feb 1, 2018 - Registration Begins
- Wed, Mar 7, 2018 - Registration Ends
- Mon, Mar 12, 2018 - Registrations that have not been paid for will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.

Sophomores- Guidance Seminars Continue
Gr 10 Counselors are continuing to meet with their Advisory students through February to discuss how possible career interests may relate to junior year courseselection, extracurricular activities, and possible informational interviewsand job shadow experiences with the help of BHS Career Counselor Kate Cordner.
The importance of BALANCE in your junior year course planning starting in March will be discussed, as well as an explanation of BHS GPA and reminders on how to stay in touch withyour counselor.
