BHS Guidance/Counseling Dept Weekly Updates – Week of June 21, 2022 - LAST ONE FOR THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR!

We made it! It’s the last week of school. Happy, healthy, relaxing summer to all!

This is a special schedule week. Please see the attached last week of June 21 schedule.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Thurs 6/20 as FULL SCHOOL DAY.

Tue. 6/21: Makeup Finals/Grading Day (with three make-up periods proctored by administration)
Wed. 6/22: FULL DAY - Courses meet: Z1, A1, B1,T, C1, D1, E1, F1, G1
Thu. 6/23: FULL DAY - Courses meet: Z2, A2, B2, X, C2, D2, E2, F2, G2
Fri. 6/24, 1/2 day with noon dismissal: Last Day of School- individual conferences with teachers if needed; Grab and go lunches available

BHS Guidance/Counseling Dept Weekly Updates – Week of June 13, 2022

This is Week B for students in Gr 9-11. This is a special schedule week due to final exams scheduled on both Thurs 6/16 and Fri 6/17.
See the attached last weeks of June 13 and 20 schedules.
IMPORTANT NOTE - June 13 week schedule is accurate, but June 20 week schedule will be updated to include Thurs 6/20 as FULL SCHOOL DAY.
Given the continuing rise in COVID-19 cases in our schools, and our increased number of clusters (three or more cases in a class over a seven-day period) at our schools, PSB has made the decision to REQUIRE masks for all staff and all students. We will continue to monitor our case counts and the community metrics and remain open to altering these guidelines moving forward.

BHS Guidance/Counseling Dept Weekly Updates – Week of June 6, 2022

This is Week A for students in Gr 9-11. This is a special schedule week due to Science MCAS testing on Tues 6/7 and Wed 6/8. All 9th graders and a small group of Gr 10 & 11 students will be taking Science MCAS testing.
See the attached June MCAS week schedule attached. NOTE- Schedule says sophomores but should read 9th graders!

The BHS Counselors are proud of the seniors who became BHS graduates earlier today at the graduation ceremony at Fisher Hill, Brookline. Way to go Class of 2022!

Q4 Critical Updates for Gr 9-11 students will be posted today Tues 5/31. Only students with grades lower than C or attendance issues will be included in these updates. Please be sure to check this information to help support students who need to finish the school year with a push AND to congratulate students who are consistently doing good work.
