Special MCAS ELA schedule attached for this week of March 21.
-- All 10th graders will test on the mornings of Tues 3/22 and Wed 3/23.
-- Juniors are required to attend one drop-in post high school planning workshop of their choice for one morning or both. Topics and times will be shared later this week. They can also schedule a 1:1 appointment with some counselors.

Brookline High School is now MASK FRIENDLY as of last Monday 3/14.

March Scholarship Letter

BHS Scholarships
The Brookline High School Scholarship Committee announces that applications are now available for BHS scholarships for students going to ANY college. Applications are available online on the BHS homepage. Applications must be completed ASAP. The Scholarship Committee would like parents to know that we use three criteria for choosing award recipients: academics, contributions and activities at BHS, and most importantly, unmet financial need. There are no merit scholarships per se given out through this program. To make fair decisions, the Committee requires that families fill out the CSS Profile financial aid form, available at CollegeBoard.com. Please use code #0424

BHS Guidance/Counseling Dept Weekly Updates – Week of March 7, 2022

This is Week A for BHS grades 9-12.

The mask mandate for the town of Brookline remains is currently in place through March 15, 2022 . Public health data is being reviewed for any further recommendations. All BHS students and staff are still wearing masks at this time.

Quarter 3 academic Progress Reports #1 (IPRs) are now uploaded to the parent and student portals as of last Friday March 4.

What are FLEX blocks for Gr 10-12 students? There are two Flex blocks for grades 10-12 Hub/Advisory this quarter 3. Flex blocks are a time during Hub/Advisory for students to work on academics. These are scheduled to occur following progress reports. BHS faculty and students have been notified of these Flex dates in advance so that everyone can plan to use these blocks effectively.
