The Mission of the School Health Program is to foster the growth,
development and educational achievement of all students. Registered nurses promote health and wellness by:
  
 providing health assessment, first aid, emergency treatment,  consultation and  referral for physical, psychological and  behavioral issues 
   
 administering scheduled care for special medical needs

 providing surveillance and monitoring of communicable diseases
   
administering state mandated screening programs to identify health risks  

building partnerships to ensure referral to quality services that are effective, culturally  appropriate and responsive to the diverse needs of our students.
