Established in 2002, NESS provides a forum for postdoctoral fellows; medical, dental and graduate students; post-baccalaureates; college and community college students (particularly for African-American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian/Alaska Native individuals) to share their biomedical and health-related research activities through oral or poster presentations, to engage in discussions related to career development in the sciences, to exchange ideas and to expand their professional networks.

Youth Leadership Forum

The Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is a unique opportunity for greater Boston area students hosted by McKinsey & Company to learn about strategic thinking and problem-solving with industry leaders, raise students' awareness of consulting and business careers, and build their college resumes.
The YLF is a free, two-day selective workshop run by Boston area consultants as part of our commitment to the community. It will be held on Friday, April 5th (9:00 am-4:00 pm) and Saturday, April 6th (9:00 am-2:00 pm), 2024.
 
We are looking for students who are:
* Excited to build & improve their leadership skills
* Energized by working with creative, talented peers
* Dedicated to making a difference
 
The Youth Leadership Forum - Boston is open to sophomore, junior, and senior high school students in the greater Boston Area, and the application deadline is February 28th at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.

Blue Jay Hackathon 1/20

The University of Saint Joseph is hosting our inaugural Blue Jay Hackathon and we would like to extend an invitation to your students! The Blue Jay Hackathon will be a full day multi-tier competition that will include educational and mentoring sessions led by industry professionals. The grand prize is a scholarship to USJ for $2,024!
The Blue Jay Hackathon will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024 on USJ’s campus in West Hartford, Connecticut. Detailed information can be found in the attached flyer. Students can register online at apply.usj.edu/register/bluejayhackathon.
