Applications for the 2023 Fall Cohort of the STEM Research Program are open.
Led by PhD researchers, the STEM Research Program helps ambitious high school students work 1-on-1 with a PhD mentor to learn about the cutting edge in their STEM field of interest and produce an independent research project. After weekly meetings with their mentor to discuss new STEM topics and their related research paper, students receive an evaluation written by their mentors. Timeline Week 1: Meet with your mentor and align on a topic Week 2-4: Explore the topic and identify the research question Week 5-9: Write research paper with 1-1 support from research mentor Week 10-12: Make final edits and submit the paper for final evaluation Complete this application to be considered for participation and receive more information. Ladder Internships is a selective start-up internship program for high school students, founded and run by Harvard graduate students. In the program, students work 1-1 with supervisors from top start-ups to work on real-world projects in a real start-up environment. Our companies and supervisors come from Y Combinator, Harvard iLabs, Wharton, Google, Microsoft, and McKinsey & Company.

The Harvard Undergraduate International Relations Scholars Program is an undergraduate-run conference for high school students looking to pursue a career in foreign policy. Featuring a range of professionals and academics, this equal-opportunity conference aims to reach students all across the world, of different nationalities, socioeconomic classes, and lived experiences. This program seeks to expose high schoolers to examining current foreign policy questions with prominent leaders in the field. Programming will consist of discussions with academics, experienced policymakers, government officials, and regional experts. Students will have the opportunity to learn real-world policy writing skills, cross-cultural leadership, and how to address global challenges from all sectors of international relations.

During this six week program, students will learn the skills and traits needed to build their own business while developing a network of other motivated creators.
