This interactive workshop will give students the opportunity to:

Learn the fundamentals of finance and investing
Compete in a stock pitch competition for the chance to win an exciting prize
Hear inspiring stories from MIT women about their paths into business and leadership
Experience an exclusive tour of MIT’s campus and community

No prior experience in business or related fields is required: just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

Students can meet engineers, technologists, and educators from technology industries who have built companies, products, and teams based on their skills in science, mathematics, and engineering; engage in discussions about different STEM majors, research opportunities, and extracurricular activities that can enhance the college experience; gain insight into the diverse career paths within STEM fields and what it takes to succeed. PAMANA is excited to host a special Leadership Event for Filipino American high school students across New England. This event will provide an opportunity for students to connect, learn, and grow together through engaging workshops and interactive discussions. Students will participate in a Surviving vs. Thriving workshop, gaining valuable insights on navigating challenges and achieving success. They'll also have the chance to ask questions and engage with a panel of Filipino American professionals from a variety of careers, offering real-world perspectives and inspiration.

In addition, we'll introduce PAMANA Cares, a community-driven initiative where students will collaborate to create care packages filled with groceries to support those in need. This hands-on activity encourages teamwork and fosters a sense of community among FilAm youth. Once completed, PAMANA will deliver these care packages throughout New England, spreading compassion and solidarity.
