This April student council focused on rolling out the new club funding protocol, as a reminder the deadline has been moved to May 8th so clubs still have a bit of time to turn that in. On top of that we have been working in our current committees and reorganizing ourselves after committees were resolved. We are close to the end of the year, so we have been pushing ourselves to complete committee work so we have a clearer plan for what these committees look like next year. One example of this is reviewing the equitable grading bill offering feedback and edits to the committee after the bill went to a legislature vote and didn’t pass. The edits will hopefully help the bill be best for BHS and possibly pass soon. Finally, we have started using the feedback from the student body to brainstorm possible issues next year’s student council & student government would like to tackle. If you have any questions or concerns you think student council could help you with feel free to email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected].
