Our Program
We are excited to be able to offer Sailing in the Spring of 2024. We have partnered with Courageous Sailing to offer a competitive sailing experience at JP Pond.
BHS Sailing is a co-ed dinghy sailing team. We are a highly competitive team in the league and in the region and are always looking for new members to fill out the program. We race 1 and 2 person boats in both fleet and team racing. Team racing requires 6 starters, fleet racing usually requires 4. We are part of the Mass. Bay League in the New England Schools Sailing Association (NESSA), part of the Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA). Cuts are made based on ability both on and off the water and are necessary due to equipment and facility limitations.
Varsity (10-16 people)
