Our Program
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sailing for the 2022-23 academic year due to a lack of coaching candidates.
BHS Sailing is a co-ed dinghy sailing team. We are a highly competitive team in the league and in the region and are always looking for new members to fill out the program. We race 1 and 2 person boats in both fleet and team racing. Team racing requires 6 starters, fleet racing usually requires 4. We travel across New England including Maine, Cape Cod, and Connecticut, and hope to travel nationally. We are part of the Mass. Bay League in the New England Schools Sailing Association (NESSA), part of the Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA). Cuts are made based on ability both on and off the water.

- race experience desired
- sailing 5-6 days a week 3 PM to 6 PM including weekends and every day during vacations
- need physical fitness and desire to compete
- participates in up to 3 regattas a week
