Volunteer with Brookline Recreation Department

Volunteers needed to assist in the following classes run by the Brookline Recreation Department. These classes are geared toward special needs individuals. All hours can be counted as community service
Creative Crafting:
Eliot Recreation Center
Wednesdays   4/1-4/29  6:30-7:30 p.m.
Join us each week as we take on a new DIY project.  Receive step-by-step instruction and support as we work to create and craft our own items

Experience the Blue Hills
Meet at 1955 Beacon St, Brighton, MA 
Saturdays    4/4-5/9 10AM-2PM
 This program is designed for participants to learn, develop skills, and get active while connecting to nature and to others. Open to all, beginners to experts. Join us every Saturday this spring to get outside, explore new trails and have fun! Pick up and drop off location will be at Dunkin Donuts in Cleveland Circle, 1955 Beacon Street, Brighton MA. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring a healthy bag lunch and water
 

Wellness Wednesday Walking Club
Meet at Chestnut Hill Reservoir
Wednesdays 6/24-7/29  4:30-5:30 PM
 Join us for a weekly walking club where we will take on local walking routes and practice wellness habits.  Each week, we will build on our mileage, intensity, and work on getting fit.
